What should I know about PolandCab.com and why should I choose your company?
PolandCab.com is a licensed transport company located in Gdynia, (Pomeranian region), Poland, which gives us easy and fast access to Gdansk Lech Walesa airport and local train stations. We will soon propose transfers to and from all airports across Poland, were our local representatives and fully qualified drivers will be at your service all year round.

What regions do you cover?
At the moment we can take you from or to Gdansk Lech Walesa airport from or to any place in Poland. Soon, we will offer you transfers to and from all airports across the country. However, if you need a transfer from or to the destination that is not covered yet, do not hesitate to fill in the Request form. If we are advised about your need in advance we could probably arrange a transfer for you and it will be confirmed to you within 24 hours.

What does PolandCab.com offer?
We offer flexible transfers between airports/train stations and your accommodation or meeting point. No need to wait for crowded city bus or overpay for taxi. You can choose the time of the pick-up that suits perfectly to your flight arrival time.
What type of transfers do you offer?
We offer private transfers which means there will be no multiple pick-ups or drop-offs. This is a fast, door-to-door transfer option.
Who are your drivers?
Our drivers are highly qualified and experienced professionals. They are selected in the strict recruitment process to ensure you safety and comfort on the road. Most of them speaks fluent English. It can happen thought, according to availability, that a non-English speaking person will drive a car. In case any help is needed our transport assistance will be there for you 24/24 hours, 7/7 on +48 884 84 84 44.
What vehicles do you offer?
The type of vehicle depends on number of passengers traveling. We adapt our offer to your needs making your trip as pleasant as possible. Our fast growing fleet consists at present mostly of minivans Renault Traffic (8+1). For group booking (8+) please fill in the Request form.
How can I contact you?

Is online booking possible and is there any deadline?
It is possible to book your transfer online until 24 hours before the pick-up time, just follow the steps on How to book. If you need to make a reservation within 24 hours before the pick-up time please contact us by phone on +48 884 84 84 44 or mail at info@polandcab.com or fill in the Request form.
Can I book the transfer for any time I want, even for night hours?
Yes, our service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as well as our transport assistance in case you need our help. There is no extra charge for night hours.
How can I get to know the price of my transfer and availability?
To get to know the availability and transfer price just enter your booking details (date/time/place of pick-up and drop-off) in the Quotation Form on the Home page and press “Next step” button. Is there any other important information that I should add while making a reservation?
It is important to put the full pick-up or drop-off address if your arrival/departure point is different than the airport. It will make it easier for our drivers to find the right meeting point. If you have any special request (child-seat, space for wheelchair) you need to inform us about it at least 24 hours before the pick-up; you will be asked to add this information while making your booking on the second page of the booking form. Your personal data will be needed to confirm the booking as well as your payment card details to authorize the payment for your transfer.
Is it possible to make a reservation for more than 8 people?
Group booking is possible for any number of passengers. To proceed to make this type of booking please call us on +48 884 84 84 44 so that we could confirm you the availability and calculate the price. You can also fill in the Request form where you will need to indicate the number of passengers and provide all booking details as per Quotation form on the How to book page.
What if I wish to travel with friends who arrive with different flight?
In this case please enter the optimal pick-up time for you while making your booking, that is, for example the details of the last flight arriving.
Is the booking confirmed automatically?
Once we get the authorization to debit your payement card from your bank the order number appears on the screen. This means your order has been passed to our transport service. You get your booking confirmation and your electronic ticket by email within next 24 hours. If you do not get it please call us on +48 884 84 84 44. or send us an email to make sure your booking is confirmed.
Is it necessary to reconfirm my transfer?
You are not obliged to reconfirm the first part of your journey but we do strongly recommend that you to confirm your return part at least 24 hours before. You can do it by phone or mail, giving us your booking number. Just Contact us.
When do I have to pay for the booking?
To make a booking of your transfer you will need to provide us with your payment card details at the last step of the online booking process (you will be transferred automatically to our secure payment terminal once you confirm your travel details). Your payment card will be charged for the full amount of your transfer at the time of booking. When making a booking by phone or/within 24 hours before the pick-up you will get the full information of payment procedure from our assistance.
What type of payment cards are accepted?
All major payments cards are accepted: Visa, MasterCard, American Express. You can also pay by debit card but in case of refund you will have to provide us with your bank account full information. Please note that fees may apply.
In what currency do I pay for the transfer?
All prices on our website are in EUROS and your card is also charged in EUROS at the time of booking.
Do I pay a payment card fee?
The payement card fee is included in total price.
What is included in the total price?
The total price (full amount that you pay at the moment of booking) includes: professional driver service, motorway tolls, airport parking fee, all taxes and payment card fee. If you are traveling with children, we will provide you child-seats free of charge, if you want to take a snowboard or wheelchair, extra space will be arranged for you also without any additional charges. For bikes additional fees may apply.
Do you offer any discounts, for example for children?
Discounts are offered occasionally on Promotion page. For regular transfers however, we offer the same ticket price for any adult or children occupying a seat. There are also no extra fees for night, weekend or holiday transfers.
Can I change my booking?
You can change your booking details until 24 hours before the pick-up by calling us on +48 884 84 84 44 or mailing us info@polandcab.com. Please note that you can be asked to pay the price difference if you change your destination point (subject to availability), add a person to the reservation, add a special request or equipment to the reservation etc. Change fees can also apply. Can I cancel my booking?
You can cancel your booking until 24 hours before the pick-up by calling us on +48 884 84 84 44 or mailing us info@polandcab.com. Cancel fees may apply. Please refer to change and cancel Terms and conditions.
How much baggage can I take?
You have the right to carry one piece of hand baggage plus a laptop or handbag weighing no more than 10 kg (22 lb), and having 115 cm (45 in) total dimension (L + W + H). Checked baggage is limited to 300 cm (118 in) and a maximum weight of 32 kg (70 lb).
What happens if I exceed the baggage allowance?
Charges will be applied for each piece of luggage presented over the authorized allowance, 5 EUR for extra cabin baggage and 10 EUR for extra checked baggage. Please enter the number of bags you intend to take.
Can I take a bike or skis?
Yes, bikes and skis are allowed, you can also take other special equipment on previous arrangement. Please indicate it while making your booking.
Are wheelchairs allowed?
Yes, extra space for wheelchair is provided on previous arrangement FREE of charge.
Do you provide child-seats?
Yes, child-seats are provided free of charge on previous arrangement, FREE of charge.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, small pets (5 kg cage included) are allowed on previous arrangement. Please check Terms and conditions for more information or send contact us by using the Request Form
Where will the driver wait for me?
The meeting point depends on the pick-up point, airport/train station plan or temporary works. In general, if your pick-up point is at the airport the driver will wait for your at the arrival terminal gate with your name on the PolandCab.com company board. If you start jour journey at the train station the driver will meet you at the information desk most frequently. You will find detailed information about meeting point on your booking confirmation.
What if I can’t find the meeting point or the driver.
If you have followed the instructions on your booking confirmation but still you can’t find the meeting point or the driver please call our transport assistance on +48 884 84 84 44 or on the number you will find on your booking confirmation so that we could help you as soon as possible.
What happens in case I leave anything in your car or bus?
In this case you should write us an email with detailed information of your transfer and/or your booking reference. Than we will do our best to return your personal item to you as soon as possible. Please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
Will the driver wait for me if the flight is delayed?
By entering full and correct flight details on the booking form you give us opportunity to track your flight schedule. In case your flight is delayed our transport assistance/driver will be aware of it and will adapt the pick-up to your new expected arrival time. The driver will wait for you. If you are informed about schedule change in advance by the airline, please Contact us as soon as possible to arrange new pick-up time.
What happens if the flight is canceled?
If you inform us about the cancellation of your flight in advance, that is 24 hours before the pick-up time, we will keep your reservation open for the next 24 hours. It means that you will have the possibility to change the date and time of the pick-up within 24 hours from your originally scheduled flight, free of charge (subject to availability).
Can I get an invoice?
Yes, just note invoice data on 3rd part of the booking form or, once your reservation is already done, send us your invoice request by Request Form or mail.
Are your services cheaper than a local taxi?
By booking with us you get much more for the ticket price than just a transfer. We propose attractive flat rates, especially for longer trips. You can book your transfer in advance to be sure the vehicle will be available at the time you wish. You get your booking confirmation within 24 hours, you know in advance the booking price and you pay the total amount for your transfer at once via a secured payment system. Besides you have an access to our English-speaking transport assistance by phone or mail any time you need our help.
What is a PCO license?
PCO stands for Public Carriage Office which is an official statement allowing the driver to carry the passengers and confirms his knowledge as well as physical and psychical ability to do the job.
